Quest International is seeking a Field Technician Supervisor to lead daily field service operations, including technician scheduling, dispatch, routing, workload balancing, SLA performance, and service escalations.

This role requires someone who has personally worked in the field and understands technician travel, customer-site service, equipment troubleshooting, delays, scheduling changes, and real-world field conditions.

• Manage daily technician dispatch, routing, and scheduling.
• Assign work based on urgency, location, technician skills, and SLA requirements.
• Monitor open tickets, backlog, response times, completion rates, and utilization.
• Handle service escalations, failed jobs, delays, and scheduling conflicts.
• Balance technician workload and improve field productivity.
• Track and drive SLA and KPI performance.
• Coach dispatch and service coordination staff.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and operational reporting.
• Improve scheduling and dispatch processes.

• Previous hands-on experience as a field technician, field service engineer, installation technician, repair technician, or similar role.
• Experience traveling to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, service, or repair equipment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in field service dispatch, technician scheduling, or service operations.
• Direct experience managing dispatch boards, routing, technician schedules, and workload.
• Experience supporting mobile field technicians.
• Experience managing service escalations in SLA/KPI-driven environments.
• Experience with field service, dispatch, CRM, or ticketing systems.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
• Able to work onsite in Irvine Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Must live within a realistic commuting distance of Irvine.
• Compensation expectations must align with $35.10–$43.27/hour.

• Medical device, OEM, A/V, electro-mechanical, installation, or technical field service experience.
• Route-based technician management experience.
• Strong Excel and operational reporting skills.
• Experience improving dispatch efficiency and technician utilization.
• Previous regular field-service travel experience.

This is not an IT helpdesk, call-center supervisor, or desk-only coordination position.

The strongest candidates will have both personal field-service experience and direct responsibility for technician dispatch, routing, scheduling, escalations, and service performance.
