What You'll Do As one of the first people our clients interact with, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive experience for every patient and pet owner. Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: Client Service Responsibilities Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently Obtain and document accurate patient histories Process invoices and payments accurately Verify vaccination status and required testing Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with doctors and technical staff Prepare prescriptions, prescription diets, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian Maintain accurate medical records and client information Support daily hospital operations to ensure a seamless client experience This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred but not required Strong customer service experience in veterinary, medical, hospitality, retail, or another client-focused environment is welcomed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for providing exceptional client service Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable learning new computer systems and technology High school diploma or equivalent Weekend availability as needed Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds Benefits Competitive Compensation - $16.00-$22.00/hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
