CDL A local dry van driver in Portland, OR .This is a daytime position, Sunday through Thursday. The role involves operating a Day Cab Tractor, hauling 53’ trailers to and from designated Candidates must be capable of handling freight.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $30.00

Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

Home Daily

Shift: 4 Days at 10 hours

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 4 days 10 hours

Route: Linehaul to Seattle Dock, Local Portland

Touch freight, Trailer hostler

Equipment

Newer fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, full maintenance support, safety features and electronic logs

Day cab tractor

Automatic Transmission

Speed governed at 65 mph

Inward and outward facing events triggered cameras

Slip seating

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have valid CDL A

License

Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL driving experience

Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)

No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years

No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years

Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations

Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen

You must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English as outlined in the Road Executive Order and stated in Federal law

40 miles of Portland, OR.
