Cardiac Sonographer Echocardiography

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS): Required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT): Required
• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE): Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS): Required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or RDCS: Required
• ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCCS: Required
• Two years of experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer: Preferred
• Two years of experience as a vascular sonographer: Preferred
• One year of experience as a Fetal ECHO sonographer: Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform M-Mode with calculations, 2-D procedures with necessary views, and Doppler echo with analysis on patients of all ages.
• Conduct all peripheral vascular procedures, including arterial and venous Doppler studies, segmental pressures, ankle-arm index, and carotid ultrasound.
• Execute tilt table exams, treadmills, 24-hour Holter monitors, and pharmacological studies.
• Stay updated with the latest advances in cardiovascular techniques and equipment.
• Mentor and precept new staff members as needed.
• Document all information and data accurately as required.

Compliance / Notes:

• Day shift with on-call requirements.
• ECHO experience is required.
