HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:

• Is responsible for the administrative support and day to day operations of the TMH Child Care Centers.
• Assists in administrative functions required to maintain day to day operations of the department.
• Shall be available to advise and assist.
• Possesses knowledge of early childhood development and clerical and administrative skills to perform Center operations.
• Assists in supervising staff and working with patrons of the Center.

• Child Care Director

Supervises:

• Child Care Specialists
• Child Care Providers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

• High School Diploma/GED.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Required Experience:

• Three (3) years classroom and supervisory experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Directly related supervisory experience as Director or Assistant Director.
• Other training or special skills include strong communication, human relations, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• 45 hours FL Department of Children and Families (DCF) training including passing the competency examination, Child Development Associate (CDA) and Director's Credential issued by DCF.
