Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Level 3 RN – EndoscopySchedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM; on-call required for overnights and weekends.Assignment Details: 17-week contract.Requirements:New York RN LicenseBLS Certification (AHA Only)ACLS Certification (AHA Only)2 years of previous endoscopy procedure experienceTelemetry monitoring and rhythm identificationConscious sedation experienceExpert IV insertion skillsExperience recovering patients from general anesthesiaExperience performing intake for GI proceduresResponsibilities:Answer patient questions and address concerns.Observe patient vital signs.Sedate patients before procedures and recover them after procedures.Administer necessary medications and complete all required documentation.Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.Clean and sterilize equipment before use.Assist doctors throughout procedures.Administer IV drips as needed.Client Details: City Rochester State NYTLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
