Senior ServiceNow Developer

We have an outstanding Contract position for aSenior ServiceNow Developer. This position is 100% remote.

Pay Rate: $75.32

**US Citizenshipis required.**

**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.**

Looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support and lead ongoing ServiceNow continuous improvement projects of the existing ServiceNow implementation for an enterprise. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to client needs,and to support the implementation of the ServiceNow roadmap. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will collaborate with a diverse workforce withina matrix environment and be able tocommunicate effectively in obtainingand synthesizingrequirements from external stakeholders, while working with the team to build uponthe existing ServiceNow foundation.As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for maintaining and performing continual service improvements onthe following implemented modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, HAM, CSM.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifies risks and challenges, performs qualitative and quantitative analyses, evaluates alternatives, and provides well-informed recommendations.
• Lead the development review process and provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level staff.
• Gather and document business and system requirements.
• Support in the development of use cases and testing procedures, ensuring product functionality, debugging andtesting iscompleted prior toproduction deployment
• Coordinate and lead project team meetings with technical staff and other key stakeholders.
• Develop implementation plans, SOP, system architecturefor all project deployments. 
• Assist in the architecture, design, management, and implementation of ServiceNow.
• Prepare IT toproject status reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains project documentation repository.
• AI experience: Now Assist, third-party LLM API's, Automatic test framework.

Development:

• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments with a focus on ServiceNow tools and techniques, including experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5, AngularJS, jQuery andCSS.
• Design, configure, and implement environments for applications,engineer suitablerelease management procedures, and provide production support.
• Design, create andconfigure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts andACLs includingadvanced scripting.
• Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests, and conduct reviews to make surework utilizescoding standards and best practices for platform performance, and assess the overall quality of delivered components.
• Experience using Flow Designer.
• Integration experience.
• Collaborate with teamon software design, to provide accurate work estimates and implementation of new features includinginterfaces, contracts with storagesystem, and data transformation.
• Liaise with other development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Ensure that all security policies and practices are adhered to as part ofdevelopment.
• Ensure all development is created in alignment with ServiceNow Technical Best Practices

Basic Hiring Criteria:  

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strongunderstanding of the platform's architecture and capabilities. May consider additional years of experience in lieu ofa degree.
• At least 6 years of experience with design, development andsupport.
• At least 4 years of experience in leading software development projects.
• Must have hands-on ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules inparticular experience withHardware AsstManagement (HAM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Customer Service Management (CSM) andHR Service Delivery (HRSD).
• Familiar with ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
• Shows initiative, presents ideas to overcome challenges, self-starter.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn andteam-oriented.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Support development in Agileframework. Actively participate in agile daily scrums and ceremonies, updating stories daily in ServiceNow, documenting development progress andcollaborating across platform teams.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow custom-scoped application development.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems
• Familiarity with organizational change management
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with Okta and SSO technologies
• Ability to obtain public trust clearance prior tostart date.
• Active ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire date.

Desired Qualifications: 

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Certification.
• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification.
• Project management experience.
