Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.Performs complex inspection of circuit boards and assemblies to ensure they conform to required quality requirements, standards and procedures.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms intricate visual inspection of assemblies and sub assemblies ensuring they conform to requirementsReads visual aids, engineering change notices, special instructions and applies knowledge of electrical principles and IPC standards to determine acceptance or rejection of circuit boards and assembliesEnters standardized information into the MES system to record pass or failure of circuit boards and assembliesDetermines cause and effect of defects and refers findings to manufacturingReviews and approves solutions and refers unresolved issues to QA Group Leader and/or Quality leadership for resolutionTrains other employees on quality processes and proceduresMaintains quality records of inspection activitiesWorks safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices along with all other work rulesMinimum RequirementsMinimum two years relevant work experience or equivalent trainingAdvanced reading, writing and math skills (12th grade level)Basic PC skills (opening and closing programs, keyboarding skills) and familiarity with MS WindowsAble to work independently and cope with changing priorities on multiple workcellsAdditional RequirementsAcquire and maintain Certified IPC Specialist Certification and Jabil QC CertificationPass gage R&R test annuallyPhysical DemandsEmployee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to walk, bend, lift, push carts and carry equipment up to 50 lbs. Required vision abilities include close vision, frequent use of computer monitor and inspection equipment. Safety glasses and steel toed shoes required on the manufacturing floor, receiving inspection, receiving, stockroom and shipping areas. Workstation is located on the manufacturing floor.
