Finishing Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Title #2 Operator in Prepress - 2nd shift As a #2 Press Operator, you will be responsible for working as a Mid-Level Operator on our Core Print Solutions team. In this role you will provide leadership, work direction, and train/develop the skills of the crew to consistently optimize overall performance. Hours of Work Eagan, Minnesota 2nd shift 2:30p - 10:30p Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts About the Role: Reviewing job specifications for material and set-up requirements Performing or delegating set-up tasks Monitoring the equipment and product through the job run to ensure a high-quality product Performing moderately complex trouble-shooting related to product or equipment Communicating effectively during shift and at shift hand-off Evaluating mechanical condition of equipment, completing preventive maintenance; involving Maintenance as needed Using computer-based workflow applications to manage files Work results are not typically checked by others About You: Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher. Candidates with a vocational/technical degree are strongly preferred Ability to read, interpret and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders Experience with Lean and continuous improvement Good communication skills including experience sharing information across shifts and departments Proven success as a trainer Competence with rulers and measurement Can regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder as well as push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs occasionally up to 50 lbs Regularly standing walking, crouching, bending, reaching, and kneeling Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation hourly range for this role is $21 USD - $39 USD.
