Electrical Maintenance Technician

Night shift differential: +$1.00 per hour. Work Schedule Normal Hours: 3rd shift – 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Monday‑Friday. Hours and scheduled days are subject to change based on business needs. Primary Function Provide advanced technical support throughout the production facility, including troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical and electrical problems on high‑speed filling and packaging machines. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and fix equipment using electrical schematics (American & European) and mechanical drawings. Resolve issues for servo and frequency drive applications. Write and modify PLC logic for Allen Bradley controllers. Support processing‑specific technical issues, including level probes, pressure transducers, and flow meters. Apply Rockwell technical support to resolve complex issues in all plant areas. Update electrical panel layouts to enhance operations and simplify troubleshooting. Proficient with Rockwell software: RS Logix, RS Linx, Factory Talk View, RS View 32. Other Support Responsibilities Work directly with outside vendors and the Engineering Manager to support project implementation plans. Support plant‑wide RCFA and problem‑solving activities that impact reliability and breakdowns. Support Process Transformation Systems and activities. Support activities surrounding the Center for Excellence Maintenance Asset Improvement action plans and strategies. Support the training and development of all resources in CfE and Operations. Support the CfE equipment standardization strategies. Safety Responsibilities Maintain a safety‑first mentality and approach to work; proactively observe potential hazards and report through appropriate channels. Perform all duties safely and use discretion to prevent injuries to self and others. Quality Responsibility Place quality second only to safety and adhere to all GMPs. Actively observe floor for potential quality risks and report through appropriate channels. Minimum Qualifications 2‑year technical degree or equivalent experience. Current Tech I qualification and ability to pass current Tech I and Tech II tests. Current Tech II/B technician level or higher, and ability to pass current Tech II test. Complete Tech IV step‑up card within 12 months of bid award for pay increase and grade maintenance. Ability to work well within a team and with all plant associates. Self‑directed, motivated, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and train individuals on technical competencies. High level of written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
