AI Solutions Specialist

The AI Solutions Specialist supports the Lanco AI Labs initiative by translating real business problems into practical, deployable AI solutions. This role offers hands‑on, execution‑focused experience building internal AI tools that drive measurable business value. The ideal candidate is self‑driven, solution‑oriented, and comfortable working independently to design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions that teams can immediately use. Essential Functions Design, build, and deploy internal AI tools and applications using modern AI platforms. Translate real business problems, workflows, and pain points into working AI solutions. Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on AI solutions with minimal oversight. Own AI solutions end‑to‑end, including development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. Focus on practical outputs that deliver immediate business value, efficiency gains, and time savings. Work directly with business teams to gather requirements and gain clarity on workflows and needs. Push for clarity when requirements are vague or incomplete and help shape feasible solutions. Prioritize solution development based on business impact and technical feasibility. Demonstrate AI solutions as needed to support adoption and explain functionality in simple, practical terms. Support early rollout, usage, and refinement of AI tools. Stay current with AI tools, platforms, and capabilities and quickly test new approaches. Apply learnings directly into real solutions and share practical insights with the AI Labs team. Create and maintain technical and functional documentation for solutions developed (as needed for sustainability and adoption). Qualifications Proven hands‑on experience building real AI solutions or tools (practical execution required; not purely theoretical). Strong ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with a focus on execution and results. Ability to translate business needs and workflows into functional AI solutions. Skill level aligned closely with internal AI Labs standards so solutions can be applied directly to real problems. Solid communication skills, with emphasis on explaining solutions clearly rather than extensive documentation or presentations. Strong accountability, ownership mindset, and willingness to figure things out without waiting for direction. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with business systems such as Salesforce, Jira, Epicor, or similar platforms. Experience with automation tools or low‑code/no‑code platforms. Background working directly with business users or operational teams. Exposure to modern AI tools and emerging AI capabilities. Work Environment This is primarily an office classification, and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. May work offsite in various environments; travel may be required. Physical Demands And Travel Requirements The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports, records, and other materials that typically weigh less than 30 pounds. The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
