Senior Cloud Software Engineer (Python/AWS)

Salary: $62,000 - 102,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong Python skills; Python is the primary language for the role.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and platforms.
• Experience with Docker and AWS managed container platforms such as ECS or EKS.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code.
• Experience with operations and security.
• Domain knowledge of pre-trade or trading is required.
• U.S. citizen status is specified in the posting.

• Design, build, deploy, and operate cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and event-driven services, primarily in Python on AWS.
• Develop services that ingest, process, validate, and expose market data for pricing, analytics, and pre-trade workflows.
• Contribute to cloud architecture, automation, and production support.
• Lead design and architecture reviews and establish engineering standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative teams, product owners, architects, data teams, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.

We are recruiting for a senior individual-contributor role on a Pre-Trade IT team that builds and operates platforms for pre-trade decision support, market data, pricing, and trading-desk analytics. The position is based in Houston, Texas, with a hybrid arrangement and an expected duration of 12+ months.
