Key Responsibilities of the Medical Claims Coordinator:
- Support daily claim administration activities by accurately entering and updating information within internal systems.
- Maintain timely processing workflows to help meet established service and turnaround expectations.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure records are complete, accurate, and ready for review or further action.
- Ensure quality standards are met by reviewing entered data and identifying discrepancies for correction.
- Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks that contribute to overall team productivity.
- Previous experience working with medical claims, insurance processes, or a related healthcare administration function.
- Understanding of common industry terminology and documentation associated with healthcare claims.
- Strong data entry capabilities with the ability to manage large volumes of information accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly through provided training and onboarding support.
