Client Business Manager

Steelcase is hiring a seasoned, self-directed Client Business Manager to drive growth within the New York City market by managing strategic client relationships, expanding business within key end-user accounts, and developing new opportunities across a complex multi-dealer territory. You will partner closely with Steelcase dealers while building direct relationships with client decision-makers. You’ll Support Meaningful Work By: Developing and growing relationships with key client accounts. Fostering new business opportunities with customer influencers. Identifying and closing new business opportunities. Collaborating closely with Steelcase dealer partners and internal teams. Leading account planning and opportunity strategies. Managing contract discussions and pricing negotiations. Hosting client events, showroom tours, and networking engagements. Maintaining accurate Salesforce CRM data. Limited travel. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of consultative B2B sales or business development experience. Experience negotiating contracts and pricing agreements. Prior experience in the contract furniture industry. Demonstrated ability to drive business growth. CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce. Based in New York City or surrounding areas. Desired Skills and Experience: A&D relationships in the NYC market. Dealer-based sales experience.
