Medical Technologist

The Medical Technologist performs complex procedures for clinical diagnostic purposes.

Time Type: Part time (56 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefits

Typical Hours: Day Shift - 8 hour shifts(0600-1430 or 0630-1500); 2 of 6 weekends, 2 of 6 holidays, and one On Call day per pay period.

Education:

-Bachelors of Science degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related science required.

-If degree is in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, must be certified as a MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) within 12 months of hire. Failure to be certified within 12 months of hire will result in being moved into a Non-certified MT position.

-If degree is in Biology, Chemistry, or other related science, must be certified as a MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) at time of hire.
