Patient Access Representative

Facilitate patient admission processes, including verifying demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits. Serve as the first point of contact, providing compassionate assistance, collecting co-pays, and ensuring accurate data entry into hospital systems. Organize appointments, pre-register patients, and manage documentation and referrals to support efficient patient flow. Responsibilities Communicate with patients/families to complete registration and verify insurance Respond to inquiries respectfully and compassionately Obtain benefits verification and process payments at point of service Enter data accurately and scan documents Schedule and organize patient services and appointments Register and pre-register patients for various cases Utilize multiple systems including electronic medical records Generate and review patient data reports, addressing issues as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in hospital or medical registration and customer serviceKnowledge of insurance policies and procedures Ability to work early mornings and weekends as required Preferred Skills Experience with authorizations, referrals, and collecting copays Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD10/CPT codes, and facility pricing Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience with Google products and healthcare systems We offer a competitive hourly range, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.
