Generalist OB/GYN

NO NIGHT CALL

Location: Lakeland, Florida

We are looking for Generalist OB/GYN Physicians to join our expanding hospital-based women's health practice.

This position provides an opportunity to engage in obstetric and gynecologic care within a supportive, community-focused setting, backed by a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist team, which eliminates night call and promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Our physicians operate within a stable employment framework characterized by strong administrative collaboration, collegial relationships, and the flexibility to influence their clinical practice.

As a Generalist OB/GYN, you will:

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients.
• Work in a collaborative team environment with immediate partner support.
• Foster a positive, patient-centered training atmosphere within the community.
• Engage in the supervision and clinical education of residents and medical students during routine inpatient, outpatient, Labor & Delivery, and surgical care.

Our OB/GYN team emphasizes collaboration over competition. Physicians consistently support each other through:

• Joint management of complex surgical and obstetric cases.
• Real-time partner backup and consultation.
• Shared daytime in-hospital call rotation (NO NIGHT CALL).
• Physician-led decision-making processes.
• A responsive, physician-focused administrative framework.

This practice is built on the principles of mutual respect, physician well-being, and outstanding patient outcomes .

Physicians have the opportunity to customize their practice focus in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

All major women's health subspecialties are readily accessible, including:

• Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Gynecologic Oncology.
• Urogynecology.
• Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (regional partners).

This integrated system facilitates seamless referrals and comprehensive, patient-centered care.

In-hospital care is provided at the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children , an eight-story, state-of-the-art facility designed for compassionate, family-centered care, featuring:

• Comprehensive services for women and children.
• A dedicated OB Emergency Department.
• A dedicated Children's Emergency Department.
• A Level III NICU with 24/7 support from neonatologists and NICU teams.
• 24/7 OB-dedicated anesthesia services.
• Specialized Women's OR suites with expert surgical teams.
• Da Vinci Xi robotic systems (robotics available but not mandatory).
• Modern, elegant, patient-centered environments.

This position is ideal for OB/GYNs who:

• Are board certified or board eligible through ABMS or AOA and possess a current Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one.
• Prefer a primarily clinical OB/GYN practice.
• Enjoy mentoring residents and medical students as part of their daily clinical responsibilities. Note: An OB/GYN Residency Program is set to launch in Summer 2027.
