If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job Summary**General Purpose:**Responsible for managing a team of Engineering & Design employees to ensure that cost, quality and delivery targets are met.**Principal Accountabilities:*** Provide technical direction to Engineering & Design teams.* Oversee resources budgeting, allocation, review and approval.* Track projects and progress through regular reviews.* Develop dashboards and reports, which accurately measure progress, identify potential technical problems, and implement timely corrective actions to ensure that revenue commitments are met.* Participate in tool design and feasibility technical reviews.* Aid and guide in the development of product designs from proposal to delivery.* Provide technical support to customer and Sales team.* Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.* Provide technical direction through mold debug.**Requirements*** Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.* 9 years of engineering experience, including supervision.* Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.* Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas* Solid knowledge of injection molding.* Demonstrated ability to develop talent as a key element of executing operational business plans.* Provides strategic leadership for the function and the site.**Preferred*** Master’s Degree or MBAMF15**What you'll receive for the great work you provide:*** Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans* Life Insurance* Short-term and Long-term Disability* Matching 401(k) Contributions* Vacation and Paid Sick Time* Tuition ReimbursementPay Range (Applicable to Illinois)### ### $146,700.00 USD - $201,700.00 USD Annual## ## Job CategoryProduction Engineering## Is Sponsorship Available?NoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
