Position Summary Technician – Sacramento, CA. Must be able to work Tuesday – Saturday shift. Responsibilities Complete installation on all Light & Wonder equipment and accessories under supervision. Perform troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems in Light & Wonder equipment in our facility or at the customer’s location. Perform basic administrative tasks (incident reports, maintenance records, tech logs). Perform preventative maintenance on EGM’s, ETG’s, and equipment in accordance with Gaming Commission and company standards. Ensure proper operations of the EGM’s and ETG’s via diagnostic tests, software settings, and functional testing. Navigate Management Terminal daily to verify EGM’s status. Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change order. Adhere to Light & Wonder Field Service established standards, policies, procedures, safety procedures, and keep tools in safe condition. Stay current with all Light & Wonder Field Advisories and eLearning. Qualifications At least 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license or state identification; ability to obtain gaming licenses if required. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on short distances; transport heavy equipment safely. Safe use of hand and power tools. Basic PC operation knowledge and Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Read and understand Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals. Prepare conversion projects or installations with limited supervision. Maintain good customer relations internally and externally. Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices. Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting. Basic troubleshooting skills down to assembly level. Work with others to accomplish business objectives. Good interpersonal, written and oral communication, customer service, problem‑solving skills. Travel may be required to other facilities within the department. Pay & Benefits Pay: $27/hour with eligibility for overtime, sign‑up, and on‑call pay. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; college‑level electronics training helpful. One year experience in assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience plus a related gaming school completion certificate.
