Your Role and Responsibilities

• Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and creating personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously, as permitted
• Informing patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in line with your licensed scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care requirements

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records within electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
