Join our computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures team and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will operate advanced X-ray and computer equipment to produce highly detailed cross-sectional and 3D images. What You Will Do

• Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing CT scanning protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT according to expected service excellence standards.
• Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers, staff and patients while displaying a positive attitude.
• Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
• Adheres to ALARA, Image Gently, Image Wisely standards and hospital CT safety standards.
• Consistently follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety.
• Demonstrates competency in patient and technical imaging skills by producing a variety of radiological procedures while maintaining the highest standard of care independently and collaboratively.
• Displays a commitment to hospital mission and values.
• Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department.
• Effectively communicates with ordering providers and/or radiologists to properly protocol patient studies.
• Ensures all equipment is functioning and demonstrates ability to initiate service repair process.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required) or Other Accredited Program: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years as CT technologist (Preferred) or 1+ years as a registered technologist (Preferred)

Skills and Abilities

• Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers. (Required proficiency)
• Use EMR and Radiology RIS systems to send and obtain patient information for care. (Required proficiency)
• Ability to perform procedures specific to area. (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) (Required Upon Hire) and Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) (Required Upon Hire)
• ARRT-CT certification within two years of eligibility to sit for the exam (Required)
• Ohio Department of Health License (Required Upon Hire)
