Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. They utilize advanced imaging equipment following safety protocols to produce high-quality images for assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment to capture clear and accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns.
• Verify patient identification and ensure all safety and radiation precautions are followed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to meet diagnostic needs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio radiologic technologist license with CT certification.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in diagnostic imaging, specializing in CT.
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to operate advanced imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
