Human Resources Generalist

Location: 11125 Yankee St., Dayton, Ohio 45458 Type: On-site, Full-Time Reports to: President Overview The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations and the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The Generalist carries out responsibilities including Human Resources systems, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and recruitment. Administer the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation claims Assist in processing payroll and maintain accurate payroll records Serve as a resource for employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions Assist managers with employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions Coordinate new hire orientation and training programs Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Assist with OSHA recordkeeping, safety initiatives, and required labor law postings Maintain employee attendance, PTO, and leave records Prepare HR reports and maintain required employment documentation Coordinate unemployment claims, employment verifications, and other HR administrative functions Support employee engagement initiatives and company events Assist with policy updates and implementation of HR programs Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred Three (3) or more years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices Experience administering payroll, benefits, employee relations, and recruiting Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred Experience with manufacturing ERP and HRIS systems Experience with OSHA recordkeeping, workers' compensation, FMLA, ADA, and leave administration Experience supporting compensation, performance review, and employee development programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
