Job Description The Pharmacy Technician will provide pharmaceutical services to staff to include preparation of medications to be dispensed, maintaining inventory and a variety of administrative and operational functions as a member of the pharmacy team. Key Responsibilities: Utilizes the appropriate technique to prepare medications to be dispensed for patient administration Performs a variety of activities/services to maintain an adequate inventory of pharmacy supplies and medications both in the pharmacy and in the patient care areas Performs a variety of patient care related services that indirectly affects each patient’s quality of care Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the Pharmaceutical Services Department Required: Pharmacy Technician licensure Preferred: 2+ years inpatient pharmacy experience 1+ years IV compounding experience The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $48.28. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
