Shopify Web Designer & Developer

Salary: $50,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements:

• We need someone fluent in Shopify and Shopify Liquid.
• We require strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• We expect familiarity with Figma and Canva.
• We need proficiency with Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• We are looking for proven experience in UI/UX design and development.
• Experience with EngageBay or another CRM is preferred.
• You should be able to complete tasks without relying on AI.
• A web development certificate or diploma, or 2 years of relevant previous experience, is required.
• You must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Mississauga, ON before starting work.

• We collaborate with our team to create website layouts, mock-ups, graphics, and user interfaces, and we also work with external developers while staying current on design trends.
• We use multimedia production tools to support audio, video, and graphic editing.
• We develop, customize, and maintain our Shopify website, SEO, themes, and applications.
• We optimize Shopify stores for speed, performance, and user experience.
• We implement custom features using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• We integrate third-party apps and APIs to expand store functionality.
• We ensure the website is responsive and mobile-friendly across devices.
• We debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• We stay informed on the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices.
• We monitor site performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• We QA site content and product information to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
• We lead go-live readiness for product launches and campaign moments.
• We communicate with customers as needed to help resolve website issues.

This is a permanent full-time, in-person role at our headquarters in Mississauga, ON, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
