Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Specifics: · Scrub Color(s) All Navy or Navy and White · Number of Beds : 16 · Type of equipment : Vent, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pump, IABP, CRRT · Documentation system: Cerner · Scheduling requirements: 36hrs/week, alternating weekends, 12 hour shifts · Floating policy: Travelers float to all areas · Patient Experience requirements: ICU experience required Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: None required. CCRN, IABP, Impella and CRRT appreciated Must have : Titration of Vesicant Meds, Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, Paralytics, experience with Vents, Trachs, telemetry interpretation, Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation Advanced skills needed: Desirable skills include IABP, Impella, CRRT Procedures performed on unit: Cardioversion, Central line insertion, EGD, Bronchoscopy, Chest Tube insertions, Pericardiocentesis, Thoracentesis
