Renewal Underwriter

Manage all renewal business for the Underwriting Department, including reviewing renewal submission and all pertinent documents and information for accuracy and completeness; rating accounts following Underwriter initial renewal evaluation ensuring renewal proposal is reviewed, processed, and released accurately and in a timely fashion. Update necessary underwriting information such as Risk Control surveys, financials, MVRs and Websites. Preparation of renewal submissions; preparation of renewal proposals, including continuous communication with insured until renewal contract binds / it is decided it will not move forward. Binder issuance / policy issuance upon down payment confirmation. Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for new business, completing pre-reviews of underwriting submissions, and evaluating referrals based on basic underwriting guidelines. Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, following up on requests for information and entering or amending quotes as requested by underwriters or to reflect changes requested by agents / insureds. Collaboration with the Underwriting Manager to ensure all department goals are met and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Application preparation, submission, follow-up until completion (when applicable / direct business). Application review for accuracy. Preparation and timely delivery of policies and vehicle identification cards upon binding of coverage / down payment confirmation. Managing / monitoring / issuing NOCs and policy cancellations upon accurate review and proper verification. Complete timely Referrals for items outside of Designated Authority Letter. #J-18808-Ljbffr
