Job Summary

Client is hiring an Instrumentation Coordinator to support vehicle instrumentation, new build installations, inspections, and test vehicle setup.

As an Instrumentation Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting new build installations

• Performing walk-around inspections to ensure builds are up to customer specifications

• Working with bill of materials to understand what is required for the build

• Conducting engineering interactions and overseeing the set-up vehicles for testing

• Interacting with floor leaders and/or technicians on a frequent basis to review and improve on current instrumentation installations as technologies evolve

• Reporting the status of individual or multiple vehicle builds to the supervisor regularly to ensure milestones are being met

• Working as a team member to find opportunities to improve start to finish installation tasks for continuous marginal improvement of common practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on automotive technician or instrumentation installation experience
• Experience installing thermocouples, pressure transducers, or accelerometers
• Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
• Ability to read and work with Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple vehicle builds

Preferred Skills

• Prototype vehicle experience
• Automotive wire harness installation knowledge
• Associate's degree or ASE Certification
