TJS is seeking dedicated Instructional Assistants to help implement individualized programming and foster growth in academic, vocational, social, and life skills. #TJS26-27Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with classroom staff and specialists to implement student programs.Support students in independent living, hygiene, and community-based instruction.Collect data and implement treatment plans with fidelity.Attend clinical meetings, staff trainings, and home visits.Assist with assessments, IEP/BIP preparation, and progress monitoring.Prepare materials and lead group activities.Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies (CALM).Ensure compliance with school, DHS, and CDE policies.QualificationsMinimum age: 21High school diploma or equivalent (required)One year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferredBasic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred)Valid Colorado Driver's License and good driving recordMaturity, reliability, and strong communication skillsSkills & AbilitiesIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and ExcelAbility to interpret data, solve problems, and communicate effectivelyComfortable working in active environments (e.g., swimming, skiing, camp outings)Able to lift/carry up to 150 lbs with assistance and engage in physical activitiesBenefits100% employer-paid HSA medical insurance (plus PPO options)Dental, vision, telehealth, disability, and life insurance options9 weeks of paid school breaks, 7 paid holidays, and 3 weeks PTO403(b) retirement planPaid parental/medical leave (Colorado FAMLI)Tuition reimbursementRBT/BCBA supervision by certified professionalsMake a difference in the lives of students while growing your career in a supportive and mission-driven environment.
