Certified Compounding Pharmacy TechnicianWe are seeking a Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a relatively newer pharmacy. This role involves mixing IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques, while adhering to documented instructions and best practices to ensure safe and effective drug preparation.Responsibilities:Mix IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques.Adhere to all documented instructions, warnings, procedures, and best practices.Perform environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing, and other activities required by applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations and USP-797 standards.Maintain accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting, and tracking according to established policies and procedures.Enter home medication lists and lab results into CPR+ for patient profiles when available.Clean the ante-room and cleanroom areas following USP-797 standards.Maintain cleanroom logs.Verify lot numbers and periodically check inventory accuracy.Provide availability for assisting with on-call responsibilities as needed.Successfully complete a competency verification plan upon hire and annually thereafter.Uphold confidentiality concerning proprietary company information and patient/client care, complying with federal and state confidentiality laws and HIPAA guidelines.Qualifications:Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCBMust have compounding experienceJob Type & Location:This is a contract position based out of Worthington, OH.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
