Associate Attorney - Business Immigration

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Business Immigration for a hybrid position based in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in employment-based immigration law, excellent analytical and writing skills, and the ability to adapt to clients' needs in a dynamic environment. Duties Prepare case strategies and employment-based filings with USCIS, DOL, and DOS. Prepare consular and CBP packets as needed. File motions, briefs, and other pleadings with DHS, BIA, and BALCA. Communicate with clients, including HR professionals and individuals. Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys in client representation. Oversee legal staff in the delivery of assigned matters. Conduct legal research and stay updated on immigration case law and policy changes. Requirements JD licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 1 year or more experience as an immigration lawyer in business or family immigration. Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Willingness to learn. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Analytical and research skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
