Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in the specified location. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility, supporting a high volume of deliveries and an academic teaching environment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-risk delivery service with comprehensive obstetric and neonatal coverage. Job Details Certifications and Qualifications: BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. A Texas nursing license and Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics are mandatory. Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC) certification is also required. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service. Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience. Education: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; Bachelors Degree in Nursing and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification are preferred. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities: Support high-risk obstetric and neonatal patients, utilize electronic fetal monitoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a large academic and private practice setting. Additional Qualifications: STABLE Program certification is preferred, along with comprehensive clinical knowledge of high-volume delivery services.
