The role is at the Senior or Expert level, with a 4‑day work week of 10‑hour shifts (2nd shift, 12:00‑10:00 PM). Staff is assigned to either Sun‑Wed or Wed‑Sat. The schedule is fixed and does not rotate. Core hours are 9 AM to 4 PM, and duties include 24 × 7 × 365 support to our customer. Responsibilities Incident Detection and Monitoring Incident Analysis and Investigation Incident Response and Mitigation Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management Reporting and Documentation Mandatory Requirements Developmental (0–2 years’ experience) Full Performance (3–5 years’ experience) Senior (6–10 years’ experience) Expert (11–15 years’ experience) SME (16+ years’ experience) 1+ years’ experience in working within a Cyber Incident Response Team, Security Operations Center, or other cybersecurity position. Experience with using SIEM systems, network security tools, and log analysis tools. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies. Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies. Knowledge of the Mitre ATT&CK framework. Knowledge of threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security incident response best practices. Ability to solve complex problems using analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to use communication skills, both verbal and written, to present complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT‑II certification within 6 months of starting position. Optional Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
