Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Provide specialized care to Stepdown patients on a medical surgical unit
• Manage and titrate drips such as Cardizem, Nicardipine, Insulin, and Heparin
• Monitor and respond to telemetry for all Stepdown patients
• Collaborate with charge nurses and support staff to maintain patient care standards
• Adapt to flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
• Float to other medical/surgical units as required

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Valid RN license
• Current BLS Certification
• Experience in a Stepdown unit on a medical surgical floor
