Production Supervisor - 1st Shift Eaton's Aerospace Interconnect division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 1st Shift. The expected annual salary range for this role is $112,000 - $130,000 a year. Working hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm M - F at our Camarillo, CA facility. What You'll Do: Eaton's Aerospace division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA facility. Position Overview: Primary responsibility to oversee the Machine and Molding manufacturing teams. Manages and coordinates all activities of the Focus Factory in processing materials or manufacturing products in the organization by performing the following duties personally or through high performance work team members. Set tasks and priorities; provide technical support, analysis, and guidance of design, manufacturing, customer/contract support, and procurement. Essential Responsibilities: You will proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and rule enforcement. You will coordinate, leverages, and appropriately utilizes resources with other managers, such as maintenance, materials, scheduling, quality, and engineering, to resolve production and manufacturing problems, improve processes, maximize efficient utilization of resources, and meet external and internal customer demands. You will act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business System (EBS) processes and problem-solving tools such as ELS (Eaton Lean System) and 5S. You will actively participate in setting, communicating, and achieving department goals and objectives and develops and maintains performance metrics as required to monitor results and uses those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinates and/or participates in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results. You will fully engage workforce and promote personal accountability by identifying goals, empowering employees to drive decision making, foster innovation, and continuously learn, by providing ongoing feedback on employee performance with formal evaluation provided at least annually. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 5+ years of supervisory/ operations leadership experience in a manufacturing production environment. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA will be considered for this position. Experience with machining molding products/processes. Experience with SAP. Aerospace industry experience. Working knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality control techniques, 5S, Six Sigma, and Quality Systems (e.g., AS 9100, ISO 14001). Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.
