Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Leonardtown, Maryland. This position involves using advanced imaging equipment to perform PET/CT scans, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, patient safety, and effective communication with patients and medical staff. The technologist will work in various environments, including hospital and outpatient settings, demonstrating flexibility and technical expertise.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Wednesday (10-hour days) at MedStar St Marys Hospital, and Friday (10-hour day) at Union Hospital of Cecil County. Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; valid state driver?s license as applicable; dual certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB or ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT) required; state license required as applicable.
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have 1-2 years of PET/PET/CT imaging experience. This role requires dual licensure in the state for Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography Technologist roles, and relevant certifications through NMTCB or ARRT. Local travel may be required.
