Head of Sales & Commercial Lead, Water Services

Our client is a well-established, rapidly growing, privately held water infrastructure construction and O&M company. The company is seeking a commercially driven leader to scale its services platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will lead business development, inside sales, key account growth, and recurring revenue strategy across a well-established national customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the growth strategy for the services business.
• Expand recurring revenue through maintenance, inspection, rehabilitation, and lifecycle service programs.
• Build and lead a high-performing business development and inside sales organization.
• Strengthen relationships with strategic customers and drive account expansion.
• Establish commercial processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Partner closely with operations and executive leadership to align growth and execution.

Ideal Background

• 10+ years of sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.
• Proven success growing service-based or recurring revenue businesses.
• Experience building teams, sales processes, and scalable growth strategies.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage customers, develop talent, and influence across an organization.
• Background in infrastructure, industrial, engineering, construction, energy, utility, environmental, or asset-intensive industries preferred.
