About the Role We are seeking a Mixer Operator 3 to join our team at our Alsip, IL bakery. As a Mixer Operator 3, you will be accountable for preparing and mixing ingredients according to specifications, monitoring dough quality and equipment performance, and ensuring accurate documentation to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Shift & Schedule Shift: 1st Hours: 5:45AM - 4:15PM Weekend availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $20 - $21 Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing) Operate mixing equipment to prepare dough according to time, temperature, and recipe specifications Monitor dough texture, temperature, and development to ensure consistent product quality Maintain accurate ingredient inventory and incorporate rework according to specifications Support efficient sheeting line operations by aligning dough capacity with equipment capabilities Complete accurate SAP entries, mixing documentation, and batch records Maintain clean, organized mixing equipment, coolers, and ingredient storage areas Communicate product, equipment, or food safety concerns promptly to leadership Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 6 months of experience as a Mixer or similar production role Ability to read, write, and complete accurate documentation in English Ability to work with computers and operating screens Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Bilingual English/Spanish Prior food manufacturing or dough mixing experience Familiarity with SAP or production data entry systems Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and allergen controls Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot minor process issues Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
