What we need: The VP National Accounts is a senior enterprise leader responsible for the strategy, growth, profitability, and overall performance of a strategic national account. This role leads executive customer engagement and aligns cross-functional resources across sales, channel management, product development, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, eCommerce, and customer service to drive profitable growth and execution excellence. The position owns the end-to-end customer strategy, including business planning, product line reviews, merchandising, pricing, innovation, and operational performance, while strengthening strategic partnerships, expanding market share, enhancing customer satisfaction, and delivering long-term enterprise value. What you’ll do: Own the overall strategy, executive relationship, and business performance agenda for a strategic national account. Lead revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability improvement, and category leadership initiatives across the account. Develop and execute multi-year growth strategies that strengthen customer partnerships, expand market share, and improve financial performance. Serve as Mohawk’s primary executive leader for the account, driving strategic alignment, executive engagement, issue resolution, and long-term growth. Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Analytics, eCommerce, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and field organizations to deliver seamless execution. Own executive customer engagement, including top-to-top meetings, business reviews, joint business planning, strategic roadmaps, and growth initiatives. Lead category, assortment, merchandising, pricing, promotional, and innovation strategies that support customer objectives while maximizing enterprise profitability. Oversee major product reviews, line resets, launches, and conversion initiatives, ensuring disciplined planning, execution, and performance management. Direct pricing, investment, margin, inventory, and revenue optimization decisions to balance growth, profitability, and customer competitiveness. Leverage customer, market, POS, inventory, financial, and competitive insights to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and guide strategic decision-making. Lead complex commercial negotiations involving agreements, contracts, service expectations, investments, and strategic business initiatives. Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing account team, fostering accountability, talent development, collaboration, and a results-driven culture. Establish governance frameworks, operating rhythms, performance scorecards, and accountability measures to ensure disciplined execution across strategic initiatives. Partner with executive leadership to influence company priorities related to category growth, innovation, customer experience, service levels, and channel strategy. Ensure strong customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success while protecting Mohawk’s strategic, financial, and operational interests. Perform other duties as assigned. What you have: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience. 15+ years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. 10+ years of management experience. Leading through other leaders by setting direction, aligning priorities, and empowering teams to deliver against strategic objectives. Executive presence and credibility with senior customer stakeholders, internal leadership, and cross-functional partners. Influencing decisions and navigating complex, high-stakes situations while maintaining trust, long‑time relationships, and commercial leverage. Building alignment across competing priorities, diverse stakeholder groups, and enterprise functions. Leveraging data, AI-powered insights, market intelligence, and financial analysis to drive decision‑making, uncover opportunities, and accelerate business performance. Utilizing AI and advanced analytics tools to improve forecasting, identify trends, enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support strategic planning. Communicating complex business insights clearly and concisely in executive forums, customer engagements, business reviews, and leadership updates. Balancing growth, profitability, customer experience, operational execution, and strategic priorities in dynamic business environment. Effectively prioritizing, delegating, and managing multiple strategic, operational and customer-facing responsibilities. Demonstrating sound judgment, integrity, discretion, and professionalism when managing sensitive information and ambiguous business challenges. Leveraging Microsoft 365, AI-enabled productivity tools, business intelligence platforms, and digital technologies to improve collaboration, decision quality, and organizational effectiveness.
