Assembly Technician

Were looking for an Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical and electrical work and wants to build complex equipment from start to finish.

Youll work with mechanical components, electrical wiring, control panels, motors, conveyors, and other equipment while reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Perform complete mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
• Build and wire control panels and panel boards
• Assemble conveyors and install motors and electrical components
• Use hand and power tools to complete precision assembly work
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components
• Assist with testing, packaging, warehouse, and other production needs as necessary

• 2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Experience with wiring, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or wiring diagrams
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete data entry
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to explain and understand equipment assembly processes

Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

One-hour lunch with some flexibility around start times.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with electro-mechanical, equipment assembly, control panel, industrial electrical, or machine-building experience who wants a hands-on role with variety and room to grow.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
