eClinicalWorks (eCW) Analyst

We're hiring an eCW Analyst to be the practice's hands-on expert in eClinicalWorks. You'll work the support queue, build and configure the system to fit how our clinics actually run, lead the eCW side of implementations and data migrations, and train staff at the elbow — in the exam room hallway, at the front desk, and in the infusion suite. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in the back end of eCW and standing next to a medical assistant walking them through a progress note. You'll have direct access to leadership and real ownership of how the EHR evolves here. Why this role is different: CFRC is in the middle of a multi-phase technology modernization — workflow automation, prior authorization tooling, and infusion center systems. The analyst in this seat helps shape it, not just support it. What You'll Do Support & ticket queue Serve as first- and second-line support for all eCW issues across every CFRC site, triaging and resolving tickets within established response times. Troubleshoot clinical and front-office workflow problems — scheduling, templates, progress notes, orders, results, patient portal, and Healow. Manage escalations with eClinicalWorks support and track them to resolution. Document root causes, fixes, and recurring issues so the same problem doesn't get solved twice. Build & configuration Build and maintain eCW configuration: user accounts and security roles, provider schedules and resources, templates, order sets, structured data, registries, and reporting. Design and refine clinical and revenue-cycle workflows in partnership with providers, clinical staff, and billing. Support interfaces and integrations (labs, imaging, e-prescribing, third-party applications) and monitor them for failures. Test and validate changes before release; manage upgrade readiness and post-upgrade validation. Implementations & migrations Support new location openings, practice acquisitions, and service-line launches from an eCW readiness standpoint. Plan and execute data migrations — mapping, extraction, validation, and reconciliation — with attention to chart integrity. Coordinate go-live activities, cutover plans, and post–go-live stabilization support. Training & enablement Deliver elbow-to-elbow training for providers, clinical staff, and front-office teams at their own workstations. Onboard new hires on CFRC's eCW workflows and verify competency. Create and maintain job aids, quick-reference guides, and workflow documentation in the CFRC house style. Identify adoption gaps and proactively retrain rather than waiting for tickets. Compliance & standards Handle PHI in accordance with HIPAA and CFRC policy in every task, ticket, and export. Apply least-privilege principles to user access and participate in periodic access reviews. What You Bring Required Minimum 3 years of hands-on eClinicalWorks experience in an analyst, application specialist, trainer, or superuser capacity. Demonstrated ability across all three areas: eCW workflow design , system build/configuration , and end-user support . Experience supporting a ticket queue and communicating status clearly to non-technical staff. Experience with EHR implementations, upgrades, or data migrations. Comfort training clinical and administrative staff one-on-one and in small groups. Currently residing in the Central Florida area , with reliable transportation and willingness to travel between practice locations as needed. Working knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling requirements. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in health information management, information systems, or a related field preferred. Preferred Rheumatology or specialty practice experience — infusion services, biologics, prior authorization, or buy-and-bill workflows. Experience with eCW V12, Healow, and the patient portal. Familiarity with eBO/eCW reporting, SQL, or data validation tools. Exposure to prior authorization platforms, infusion management systems, or practice management integrations. How You Work Patient and unflappable with frustrated end users — you fix the problem and leave the person more confident than you found them. Organized enough to run a queue, a project plan, and a go-live at the same time. Clear communicator who translates between clinical language and system language in both directions. Self-directed; you notice what needs fixing before it becomes a ticket. Work Setting & Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday, aligned with clinic hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM). In-office or hybrid, based on experience and coverage needs; regular on-site presence is required for training, go-lives, and elbow support.
