Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning

To support a growing battery technology company, the full-time Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning will build and own the sales and operations planning process, reconcile demand forecasts against manufacturing capacity, and manage day-to-day material execution, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Develop and implement a rolling demand forecast and capacity model, ensuring alignment with sales and engineering teams Identify and resolve capacity or supply constraints early, facilitating cross-functional decision-making to prevent shortages Oversee materials execution by managing purchase orders, tracking material availability, and coordinating with contract manufacturers Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, S&OP, or demand planning within a hardware or industrial product environment Proven hands-on experience in establishing an S&OP or demand-capacity planning process from scratch Experience reconciling demand forecasts with manufacturing or supplier capacity constraints Direct experience in materials execution, including purchase order management and supplier expediting Strong analytical skills with the ability to build planning tools in Excel or similar software
