Project Manager-PMO

Position Project Manager–PMO – responsible for delivering medium to large scope projects of moderate to high complexity in support of key strategic HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver medium to large scope projects on time and within budget. Execute projects from concept through post‑implementation, including implementation and testing. Manage projects within the company’s project delivery framework, using industry‑standard methodologies and tools. Account for all project communications, risk assessment, contingency planning, and escalation of critical issues to the project sponsor, owner, and key stakeholders. Provide regular status reporting on plan progress as defined by company standards. Define overall objectives and key deliverables, identify and track key measures of success. Develop a comprehensive project plan that incorporates deliverables, accountabilities, and timelines, using the company’s project management system for tracking. Identify project resource requirements and collaborate with plan sponsors and leadership to secure appropriately skilled resources. Provide leadership to project resources to ensure timely delivery of commitments and tasks. Align cross‑organizational resources to ensure successful project delivery. Work effectively with business partners, vendors, technology, and project management staff to develop the project agenda and gain agreement on objectives and deliverables. Manage project financials, change control, risk assessment and mitigation, assumptions, issues, decisions, and open questions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 5 to 7 years of demonstrated experience leading medium to large scale projects to successful completion. Experience with industry‑standard project management methodologies and tools. Demonstrated capability in standard office and project management applications – Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Visio. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including solid meeting facilitation. Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with business and technology partners. Ability to translate business and technology needs into well‑designed project approaches. Results‑driven and capable of working independently as well as part of a cross‑organizational team. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Human Resources applications (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone). Experience within the Financial Services industry (broker‑dealer, asset management, insurance). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Compensation & Benefits Estimated base salary: $93,400 – $128,400 per year. Variable pay opportunities in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives. Work Environment Employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week.
