Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts) | 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, managing adult patients with conditions including respiratory illness, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Float to all inpatient units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experience
• Adhere to unit patient ratios of 1:4–5 during day shifts
• Comply with all facility health and safety policies, including applicable infection control and vaccination requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt positively to frequent changes throughout a shift
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach and willingness to ask questions to ensure the best patient care
