Position: HR Manager, Global Compensation & Benefits

Job Description:

The Global Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for supporting strategic business objectives through the design, development and execution of Arrow’s global compensation and benefit programs. The manager is a key business partner responsible for providing guidance and support to the regional HR Business Partner and Compensation & Benefits functions and successfully managing global HR and leadership relationships and global compensation and benefits projects.

What you will be doing:

Global Compensation and Benefits Projects and Initiatives : Design, develop, and lead strategic global compensation and benefits programs and initiatives via teams comprised of global and regional compensation and benefits and HR technology professionals. Projects may include annual merit and bonus processes, pay transparency initiatives, global career framework management, annual global pay range and geographic pay differential review, benefits harmonization initiatives, and compensation and benefit tool selection/development/implementation.

• Vendor Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with all external compensation and benefits vendors including Payfactors (survey management tool), Syndio (pay equity tool), Optum (EAP program), Aon (global benefits broker), compensation survey vendors (WTW, Mercer, and Aon Radford), and various others (compensation communication, AI, tool, and video development).

• Compensation Consulting: Consult with regional compensation and benefits teams and human resources business partners to facilitate leadership and employee understanding and interpretation of Arrow’s compensation and benefits programs, processes, and systems. Educates, mentors, and trains global and regional human resources teams on compensation and benefits programs, processes, and systems as needed.

• Global Compensation and Benefits Analytics and Research: Assist in completing comprehensive research on compensation and benefits trends and practices and related costing analysis as needed to inform the global HR and executive leadership team via white papers, presentations, and other materials. Provide technical and analytical support on global projects relating to compensation and benefits programs, plan or process design and/or global rewards strategy. Develop compensation and benefits analytics for HR, leadership, and employees.

• M&A: May assist regional compensation and benefits team(s) in the successful integration of compensation practices and policies on mergers and acquisitions.

What we are looking for:

• Ideal candidate has at least a 4-year degree and 8 years prior compensation and/or benefits experience including progressively more complex assignments and responsibilities. Advanced understanding of global compensation and benefits principles, practices and trends.

• Relationship Management : Proven client relationship skills with leaders and employees at all levels, the ability to collaborate well, and work effectively as a team member.

• Project Management : Ability to manage several global projects simultaneously with competing deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to develop project plans, project charters, and roles/responsibilities outlines, lead weekly global team meetings, and manage project deliverables and deadlines for several global projects at a time. Very strong organizational skills.

• Communication Skills : Demonstrate advanced writing skills and able to draft email communications, FAQs, training content in Word and PowerPoint, manager and HR talking points, research summaries, etc. related to compensation and benefits programs and practices.

• Consulting Skills : Demonstrate prior experience consulting client groups, HR colleagues, regarding compensation and benefits design, practice, trends, as well as implementation of compensation and benefits projects. Ability to assess situations, understand problems and identify the root cause, evaluate potential solutions and implications, and form a plan to address challenges.

• Technical Skills : Advanced technical skills including the ability to identify and understand system requirements for global projects and work with HR Technology team to develop and test system functionality and reporting. Knowledge of or the aptitude to adapt quickly to functionality of Workday, Payfactors, or other systems used for global compensation and benefits projects. Advanced Microsoft office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access and proficient use of HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and compensation and benefits related web and/or AI applications required.

• Ability to manage sensitive, highly confidential human resources and compensation information.

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration/Management a plus

• WorldatWork compensation and/or benefits certification preferred

• Knowledge of industry and competitive market preferred

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$102,900.00 - $165,044.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
