Deli Specialist

Job Summary Oversee select deli products during scheduled hours (Wed, Fri, Sat 3‑9:30pm; Sun 2‑8:30pm). Slice, package, weigh, and sell meats, cheeses, and other deli foods. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of deli area. Assist members with product selections. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑level customer service to members. Answer questions, recommend deli items, and take special orders. Slice, package, weigh, and display deli products, including cheeses and meats. Sample products to assist member purchasing decisions. Prepare and package special orders and party trays. Receive and inspect deli shipments. Display, stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies. Check for out‑of‑date products daily and apply product salvage procedures. Ensure deli cooler shelves and display cases contain a wide variety of products. Operate and maintain deli equipment safely; clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces. Maintain scale and pricing accuracy. Adhere to club policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned and collaborate across departments. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Qualifications Preferred experience working in a deli department. Preferred experience operating manual or power slicers and scales. Preferred knowledge of deli products. Minimum age 18 years. Benefits Weekly pay.
