Job DescriptionWhile our Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for a variety of managerial tasks, common duties include:Manage inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for serviceHelp in the process of hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimationStreamline the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service timesWork to develop and maintain the restaurant menuSet regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levelsCreating schedules for all kitchen staffTrack kitchen finances to identify areas of potential wasteAn excellent Assistant Kitchen Manager will possess a diverse set of skills.
