Full-Time Line Cook - Saut & Grill - Harrington's by the Bay

Harrington's by the Bay is looking for one skilled, full-time line cook to join our kitchen team, working primarily on the saut and grill stations.

We're an established, year-round restaurant serving a varied menu of steaks, seafood, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and seasonal dinner features. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working the line, takes pride in putting out consistently great food, and can keep pace during a busy dinner service.

If you have solid kitchen experience and are looking for steady, year-round work without breakfast shifts or late-night dining, this may be a great fit.

What You'll Do

• Work primarily on the saut and grill stations
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Cook steaks, seafood, proteins, pastas, vegetables, sauces, and other menu items accurately and consistently
• Manage multiple tickets and timing during busy service
• Complete station prep and maintain an organized, well-stocked work area
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
• Communicate and work closely with other cooks, servers, and restaurant leadership
• Assist with nightly features and changing seasonal menu items
• Help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen throughout the shift

What We're Looking For

• Previous line cook or comparable professional kitchen experience preferred
• Saut and/or grill experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently at an assigned station
• Good understanding of temperatures, timing, portioning, and food quality
• Ability to stay organized and composed during high-volume service
• Dependable and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn Harrington's menu, recipes, and standards

We value experience, but we also value attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. We'll train the right person on our menu and systems.
