Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Austin, Texas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for neonatal patients in a high-volume NICU setting. The role requires critical thinking, compassion, and the ability to manage complex cases involving newborns with various medical needs.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support); Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Experience: 2 years of NICU experience at Level 3 or higher; Location: Texas; Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of Texas, CPR certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Candidates with previous experience in a Level 3 NICU, familiarity with advanced neonatal procedures, and a friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  The unit employs modern equipment such as medfusion pumps, alaris infusion systems, giraffe warmers, and GE monitors. Staff comprises experienced RNs with a supportive team environment.
