*Full time 8:30am-5pm, includes every other weekend, every other holiday*

Activities Director Responsibilities:

• Organizer of activities that promote a feeling of independence, fulfillment and purpose.
• Directs Activities Associates in their efforts to facilitate a well-balanced calendar of programs and events that are appealing to the interests of our residents.
• Works with campus leadership to help achieve goals and launch new initiatives.
• Act as a role model leading a team of co-workers to take a proactive approach in the daily operations of dynamic living and promoting wellness practices.

Activities Director Requirements:

• Prior experience in group socialization, fitness, wellness or recreation programs required.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Activity Director or Fitness/Wellness certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local community and regional resources.
• Skills in training, directing and evaluating team and program performance.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
